Friday Night Live, Summer Concert Series

Mulligan's Island launches its first ever concert series. "Friday Night Live" will be a showcase of performers, artists and musicians from across the musical spectrum. From pop to blues, R&B to bluegrass, the 10-week series will provide the community an incredible array of musical performances. And all the shows are FREE to all attendees.
Highlights of the series include local legends Steve Smith and the Nakeds on July 26th, Nashville based musicians Stephanie Adlington and Aaron Lessard on June 14th, and 2019 Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame inductees Neal and the Vipers closing out the summer series on August 9th.
Attendees will enjoy all the Events Center at Mulligan's Island has to offer. You are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair and take your shoes off to put your toes in the grass. There will be lawn games, food choices including desserts and a wide assortment of beer and wine.
Each of the nights will bring something different to the scene, starting with the opening night's island sounds Panoramic View on June 7th. Panoramic is a Newport based band playing favorites like Buffet, Belafonte, and Bob Marley with pop/reggae interpretations of The Beatles, Kanye West, and more, all with steel drums taking the lead.
