The Mulligan’s Island Golf Academy provides quality instruction utilizing the latest methodologies endorsed by the PGA of America including video-swing analysis for golfers of all skill levels at a reasonable cost.
The Academy is proud to employ the area's top Teaching Professionals as staff members. With a state of the art year-round instructional area featuring digital cameras and video swing compilations, golfers are able to work on all aspects of their games. During instruction, golfers will utilize every aspect of the award winning golf training facility to include the Driving Range, Par 3 Golf Course, Pitch & Putt Short Course, and Putting Green.

Al Vallante, PGA - Senior Teaching Professional
Al is recognized as one of the top golf instructors in New England. With more than 30 years of teaching experience, working with beginners, top amateurs and professionals throughout the region. Al has given thousands of individual lessons and hundreds of clinics. Private lessons include one-on-one instruction using the latest tools and techniques endorsed by the PGA. Al's unique combination of knowledge, communication tools and playing experience have become the corner stone of a teaching system that continuously produces results for players at all levels.

Sean Pope, PGA - Teaching Professional
While working for Al Vallante at Triggs Memorial Golf Course, Sean became a RI All-State golfer. Sean was the Assistant golf professional at New England CC, during that time passing his PGA player ability test. At 21, Sean became a golf instructor at Johnston Golf Center. He then became the head teaching professional at Golden Triangle Golf in Johnston RI. Since then, he has been a golf instructor at Atlantic Golf Center, Harbor Lights GC, and of course, Mulligans Island. Sean has learned from several of the best PGA professionals in New England through the years, and has honed his skills as a very detail oriented golf instructor.
