Li'l Rhody Ice Cream Opens at Mulligan's Island
The ice cream was flying out of the windows at Mulligan's Island on Friday. No, it wasn't a food fight, it was the grand opening of Payton's Li'l Rhody Ice Cream. Named after owner Bill Gudas's Granddaughter, Li'l Rhody was serving up scoops of heaven to two school groups and numerous birthday parties.
Li'l Rhody has two other locations in Rhode Island. On Rt. 2 in West Warwick is all ice cream, but in West Greenwich, Bill serves up tons of local favorites, like Chowder and Clam Cakes.
At Mulligan's, the Gudas's will have hot dogs, frozen lemonade, and other snacks for visitors to Mulligan's. As well, Bill will be providing pizza for the Volcano Parties (which will end with ice cream for desert.) Next time you come by, try some of their great hard or soft serve flavors. And don't forget to tell Bill how much you like them!
